The Company was founded in Gothenburg, Sweden by an American lawyer-educator who saw the need for specialized Legal English training in order to:

• Upgrade the Legal English of Scandinavian lawyers, judges, law faculty, students, legal secretaries and government employees;
  
  
• Provide an intensive 1 week Legal English course to improve the Legal English of people with limited time and busy schedules;

• Introduce the participant to the real life practice of law in the USA including lunch with a Superior or Federal Court Judge, observation of a civil trial, and a visit to a leading Los Angeles law firm;
  
  
• Provide cross-cultural legal and social experiences;

• Combine an intensive Legal English course with an insider's tour of Los Angeles - from Malibu to Beverly Hills to Downtown L.A. - in a private limousine.
  
  Mace Simon, the founder of Nordic Law Tours, was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and is an AV rated (by Martindale Hubbell) attorney with 25+ years of legal and teaching experience. He has arbitrated and mediated hundreds of cases, served frequently as a Judge Pro Tem of the Los Angeles Municipal Court, was nominated California Trial Lawyer of the Year, and taught Legal English for Göteborgs Stad. His students studied to become Paralegals - Juristassistenter in Sweden.
