Teaching Method
This is a structured and very intense program that follows the Cambridge University International Legal English coursebook, and it is designed to help participants develop and improve their fundamental Legal English skills:

- Reading
Analyzing legal and financial documents, reading business case studies, reading and interpreting legal memoranda, judicial opinions and statutes

- Writing
Writing email and business letters, drafting contracts, researching and writing legal memoranda

- Speaking
Debating controversial legal issues, delivering oral presentations, negotiating business agreements, representing clients in simulated arbitrations and mediations.

- Listening
Practical exercises focused on listening comprehension including taking notes at lectures, attending court proceedings and client meetings.

At the conclusion of this 1 week intensive course, the participants are offered the opportunity to keep connected and maintain their Legal English with a 90-day follow-up online continuing education program.
